I've been buying, towing and dealing with old vehicles since 2000. You talk to me when you call: I ask about the vehicle, give you the price and arrange the pickup. The paperwork gets done at your place and you're paid on the spot.

Who Am I Actually Dealing With?
Me, Jay. I take the call, ask about the vehicle and set the price myself, so you're not repeating your story to a dispatcher. The number agreed on the phone is the number honoured at pickup, and towing isn't deducted from it.
I run tow trucks with drivers I've trained to the standard I expect, so the pickup is handled the same way whichever truck comes out.
It also means I know Mission. Long gravel driveways up past Dewdney, steep Cedar Valley driveways, vehicles parked behind a shop in Silverdale, and acreage pickups where the vehicle hasn't moved since before the fence went up. I've already worked out how to get a dead vehicle out of most of them.
What Kind Of Work Has Jay Actually Done?
Since 2000: thousands of vehicle pickups and recoveries. Most of it is ordinary Fraser Valley vehicles at the end of their life, and a lot of it is helping people through a job they only ever do once or twice. Gravel driveways, rural acreages, back fields, tight carports and vehicles parked in behind three others are all routine here.
High-kilometre Civics and Corollas. Grand Caravans that sat once the family bought something newer. F-150s and Rams with rusted rear frames. Work vans retired after a decade of trades work. Vehicles with no keys, no battery, seized brakes, flat tires, or moss growing on the roof. That's what the winch and the deck are for.
A vehicle that has been sitting for years has rusted mounting points and brakes that won't release. It gets winched carefully, strapped properly and hauled on the deck rather than dragged out to save ten minutes.

How Are The Vehicles Recycled?
Vehicles are delivered to a licensed recycler with a paper trail, so the transfer is documented rather than left loose.
Fluids like fuel, oil, coolant, brake fluid and refrigerant are drained and handled properly. Usable parts can be recovered for vehicles still on the road here, and the steel and aluminium get recycled. That's the part people never see, and it's the reason a vehicle still has value when the engine is finished.
What Should You Expect On The Call?
A short, plain conversation. Year, make, model, whether it runs, and where it's sitting. You get a cash number and a pickup window.
If something about your situation is unusual, like a lost registration, an estate vehicle or a vehicle in somebody else's name, say so on the call and I'll tell you what's needed. If the answer depends on ICBC, I'll say that instead of guessing.
