Non-Running Car Removal In Mission, BC
Yes, I buy and remove vehicles that don't run, anywhere in Mission.
Cars, trucks, SUVs and vans that won't start, won't drive or won't roll. Free towing is included for complete vehicles I buy and you're paid before the vehicle is loaded.

What Kinds Of Non-Running Problems Do You Handle?
Blown engines, failed transmissions, no-start faults and overheating are all reasons to call. I buy running vehicles too; this page covers ones that cannot move under their own power.
The usual ones are a blown engine, a transmission that slips or won't engage, a vehicle that overheated and quit, a dead battery after months of sitting, and electrical faults nobody could track down. Add flat tires, seized brakes or a missing key and it's still a normal pickup. What's wrong with it affects the price. Tell me what you know so we can discuss the vehicle and pickup.
How Do You Load A Car That Won't Roll?
With the winch on the flat deck. The deck tilts down, the cable goes on a solid point under the vehicle, and it's pulled up slowly and strapped down.
A vehicle with locked brakes or flat tires slides more than it rolls, so the angle and the pull matter. That's the part experience handles. For vehicles in awkward spots, I also run a wrecker, which can lift one end and pull a vehicle out to where the deck can reach it.
It helps to know ahead of time if the wheels are turned hard, the vehicle is on a slope, or something is parked close beside it.

Where In Mission Can You Reach A Non-Running Vehicle?
Most places a tow truck can get close to. A dead vehicle in a Mission City driveway is a different job from one at the bottom of a sloped lot or out behind a shop on an acreage, so tell me which it is.
Useful things to mention on the call: whether the driveway is paved or gravel, how long it is, whether it climbs or drops, whether there's a gate or overhead wires, and how far the vehicle sits from where the truck can park. Soft ground after a wet stretch is worth mentioning too. Backyard and side-yard pickups depend on clearance and a safe path for the truck.
What Should I Do Before Pickup?
Take out your belongings, have your ID and registration ready, and plan to take the plates off.
You don't need to pump up tires, charge the battery or move the vehicle. If keys or paperwork are missing, tell me before the truck comes out so we can sort it out first.
Common Questions
Can you take a car that won't start?
Yes. Whether it's a dead battery, a no-crank or a blown engine, the vehicle gets winched onto the flat deck. It doesn't need to start.
Can you remove a vehicle with flat tires?
Yes. Flat or missing tires are common. Tell me on the call so I know how it sits and what to bring.
What about seized or locked brakes?
Yes. Brakes that have seized from sitting are a normal pickup. The vehicle is pulled on with the winch rather than rolled.
Does it need to be in neutral?
It helps if it can be, but it's not required. If the shifter won't move or there are no keys, let me know before pickup.
Do I pay extra for winching?
Free towing and winching are included for complete vehicles I buy. Missing wheels or major parts can change pickup or require paid removal; tell me before booking.
Tell me what the vehicle is, what's wrong with it and where it's parked. You'll get a straight answer on the call.
